Play Pickleball. Connecting Players, Instructors, Courts, and Communities.

Amarillo National Tennis Center

The nine outdoor courts are cross-fenced with 4 ft high fences and a common/social area in the middle. The nine outdoor courts are well used and normal times to play depend highly upon the wind and temperature. In the warm months players start at 8 or 9am and others at 5pm. In cold months, players start at 10am or 1pm and then again around 5pm. Wind is a big concern. There are wind screens, but wind is Amarillo's biggest problem. There are covered tennis courts immediately adjacent to the outdoor courts. They may be used as pickleball courts for $2/person extra, but you must bring your own tape and remove it immediately afterwards. The indoor structure has poor lighting and no AC or heating. It is rarely used for pickleball.
