About the Event

I began and run a pickleball tournament for the Vancouver Fire Department, my employer. This will be our 4th tournament. We have rented 6 courts for the event and there are 2 more available for rec/demo play. We have 21 FD teams in 3 pools of 7 and we run a round robin followed by a single elimination bracket. I will be playing a demo game to kick things off with 3 other 4.5+ FD players and we will have a demo table set up for players to try out Selkirk paddles and ask questions throughout the entire event. My role is tournament organizer and, as stated before, to provide people the opportunity to try out the Selkirk paddles and balls and answer any questions they may have.
