The Buhl Club
The Buhl Club was built in 1903 financed by Frank H Buhl who was considered the "Father of the Industrial Shenango Valley". His wealth was entirely from building of the first steel mills in the area. Mr Buhl donated not only the Buhl Club, but Buhl Park which is located only 3 miles away as well as other places in the valley. The club was built specifically as a recreation spot for everyone to enjoy. The Club has swimming, workout room, many exercise classes, racquetball courts, basketball( home of Penn State Shenango Campus Athletics), and Pickleball to name a few. The Buhl Club is a non profit organization and relies on donations and memberships to help offset costs.
